At an international study day organized by ENSA on the theme of technological innovation in the service of nutrition and human health, speakers stressed the importance of research and innovation in improving food products. Abdelkader Laribi, Deputy Director of ENSA, highlighted the key role of technology in guaranteeing product quality, hygiene and safety. Malek Amial, Director of ENSA's Food Technology Research Laboratory, stressed the need for technological innovation to improve food safety and promote local products. Amel Kouidri, a nutritionist, discussed the impact of diet on health, warning against excessive sugar consumption and recommending healthy eating habits. Mohamed Habib Belmahi, professor of toxicology, expressed concern about the risks of excessive use of dietary supplements and called for stricter regulation of this market.
