5 ports to operate 24/7 soon

On Sunday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who examined the issue of port management at the national level, ordered the Minister of Transport to modify the working system in the ports before the end of February.

To this end, the President ordered the Minister to switch to the 24/7 system, particularly in ports with economic activity, namely DjenDjen - Algiers - Bejaïa - Annaba - Oran and Mostaganem.

Tebboune explained, according to the communiqué of the Council of Ministers, that this decision was intended to keep pace with economic dynamics and reduce the additional expense of ships waiting to dock for long periods.
