According to a statement, a new laboratory of the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products (ANPP) has been set up according to international standards, as a result of cooperation between Algeria and Germany. Ali Aoun, the minister, emphasised that this laboratory will train students and provide various services in seven departments, including microbiological monitoring of pharmaceutical products.
The laboratory aims to achieve several objectives, including the quality control of medicines and vaccines, as well as the monitoring of raw materials. Aoun clarified that while national pharmaceutical production will reach 85% of market needs by the end of the year, the real problem is distribution. Measures have been taken to address this situation.
