President Tebboune invites Turkish businessmen to invest in Algeria

President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune invited Turkish businessmen on Tuesday in Istanbul to invest in Algeria in several areas within the framework of a mutually beneficial integrated economy.


The President of the Republic said he was working with his brother President Erdogan to "support Algerian and Turkish investors in mutually beneficial investments in several sectors such as textiles, steel and agriculture".

"The door is open to all," he insisted, saying Monday's conclusion of 16 cooperation agreements between the two countries is a "solid basis for bilateral cooperation."

President Tebboune called on Turkish and Algerian investors to strengthen economic and financial relations.

He revealed, in this regard, that the draft law on investment will soon be adopted in the Council of Ministers, adding that "this text will be at the service of investors, opening up their prospects and ensuring their protection".
