Ministry of Industry: Workshops on the wood sector next February

ALGIERS - The Ministry of Industry announced in a press release on Sunday the organization of workshops on the wood sector in February.

These workshops, which are part of the organization and revival of strategic industrial sectors in Algeria, aim to develop the wood sector, reduce the import bill for its products and increase the integration rate, according to the same source.

Several topics focusing on raw materials, industrial land, vocational training and the market will be discussed during these workshops

 

They also aim, according to the press release, to propose appropriate solutions to the problems hindering the development of this sector, with the contribution of all players of the public and private sectors, in addition to official bodies, organizations, research laboratories and specialized training centers.

The Ministry calls on national companies, confederations, and professional associations operating in the timber industry and wishing to take part in the work of these workshops, to contact the Ministry of Industry via the e-mail address (filiere.bois@industrie.gov.dz).
