During his speech, the Minister congratulated the two new leaders on their appointments and wished them every success in their new roles. He also highlighted the major challenges that these institutions will have to overcome, particularly in terms of digitization, diversification of financial services, and continuous improvement in the quality of services offered to citizens. According to Mr. Faid, these priorities are essential for strengthening the competitiveness and resilience of the national banking sector.

The new CEOs expressed their gratitude for the trust placed in them and assured that they would do everything possible to achieve the objectives defined in their performance contracts. Drawing on their experience in the banking sector, they committed to carrying out reforms and modernization projects effectively.

It is worth noting that Mr. Samir Tamrabet, now at the helm of BNA, was previously the CEO of CNEP-Bank. On the other hand, Mr. Sid Ahmed Bouziani, before his appointment at CNEP-Bank, served as the Secretary-General.

This dual appointment illustrates the government's commitment to strengthening leadership capabilities within national financial institutions. It aims to better meet the expectations of citizens and contribute to the country's economic development.
