Algeria-Italy: Signature of several partnership agreements

Several cooperation agreements were signed on Monday between Algeria and Italy, outside the meeting that brought together President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune and President of the Italian Council of Ministers, Ms Giorgia Meloni.

It is a partnership agreement between the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA) and the Italian Economic and Industrial Confederation.

Another partnership agreement was also signed between the national oil company Sonatrach and the Italian group Eni, for the improvement and development of energy networks and connections and the energy transition.

The representatives of Italy and Algeria also signed another partnership agreement in the fields of environmental technologies, aeronautics and astronautics.

A joint convention between the two countries was signed by President Tebboune and Mrs. Meloni on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship and Neighbourly Relations between Algeria and Italy.
