27 CEIMI operators expected on Wednesday at the Algerian-Italian Business Forum in Naples

BLIDA - Twenty-seven economic operators coming under Mitidja Entrepreneurs and Industrialists Club (CEIMI) will take part next Wednesday in the Algerian-Italian Business Forum to be held in Naples (Italy), as part of the strengthening of the cooperation and economic partnership relations between Algeria and Italy, excluding the hydrocarbons sector, we learned on Monday from the Club.


The business and investment forum will be organized on January 25 in Naples, by the Algerian Embassy in Italy, in collaboration with Naples Industrial Union and in partnership with Mitidja Entrepreneurs and Industrialists Club (CEIMI), with the participation of about 100 representatives of both parties (Algerian and Italian), including 27 economic operators of the CEIMI, according to Club president, Fethi Amour.

He added that this "economic forum" aims to establish a bilateral economic partnership, particularly in the sectors of automotive parts production, agri-food, textile industry, tourism, telecommunications and digital."

The Algerian side also aims to "take advantage of Italian expertise in the field of managing small enterprises and start-ups, given that 85% of the enterprises forming the national industrial fabric are small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)", the same official said.

"This business forum will be followed by the setting up of a committee to monitor the results of this meeting, through the organization of monthly or annual meetings to follow up on the modalities of implementation of the partnerships agreed between the two parties," according to the explanations of the president of the CEIMI.

Mitidja Entrepreneurs and Industrialists Club has 1,640 member companies.
