Faced with the urgency of environmental disruption, the Caisse Nationale de Mutualité Agricole (CNMA) (National Agricultural Mutual Insurance Fund) is taking a historic step. Under the leadership of its CEO, Cherif Benhabiles, a new insurance scheme has just been finalized to protect farms against major climate risks, with absolute priority given to the fight against drought.
