Final settlement of confiscated property files: SIH receives a hotel project in Boumerdes

The Hotel Investment Company (SIH) has received a four-star hotel project in the Boumerdes province, following the recent session of the State Participation Council (CPE) focused on finalizing the legal procedures related to the definitive settlement of the confiscated real estate and movable property files, as stated in a company communiqué on Saturday.

In accordance with the President's instructions regarding property confiscated by final court decisions, the CEO of the Hotel Investment Company (SIH), Smail Chalel, and the Director of Domains for the Boumerdes province, Abdeldjebar Sila, signed the reception report for this hotel project last Thursday, according to the communiqué.

The hotel, with an area of 2,955 m², is currently under construction on the seafront of Boumerdes. It will feature 114 rooms spread over 14 floors, as detailed in the communiqué.

Mr. Chalel assured that "the Hotel Investment Company will immediately begin all procedures to restart and complete this hotel project" to make it "a significant tourist landmark" offering high-quality services.

He added that this hotel aims to enhance the attractiveness of the region and provide added value to the country’s hotel infrastructure.
