Signed on Wednesday at the CNMA headquarters, this agreement is part of an initiative to support economic diversification, making agriculture and agribusiness drivers of value creation and growth, according to the same source.
Through this agreement, the CNMA aims to encourage farmers to incorporate exports into their development strategies by expanding their commercial opportunities and improving production standards, particularly in quality, traceability and compliance with foreign market requirements.
For its part, ANEXAL will use its expertise to assist producers and agribusiness operators in understanding international trade mechanisms, regulatory procedures and target market opportunities, according to the statement.
The establishment of a structured framework for collaboration between agricultural producers, processors and exporters, based on a value chain approach aimed at organising national supply and strengthening its competitiveness and sustainability on international markets.
As part of implementing this agreement, a programme of meetings and awareness-raising activities will be rolled out throughout 2026. Regional information sessions will be organised to introduce farmers to the challenges of exporting and to promote openness to foreign markets.
A national meeting bringing together agricultural producers, agribusiness operators and exporters is also planned to examine the development prospects for sectors with high export potential and the conditions necessary for their competitiveness, the statement concludes.
