Organization of an Algerian Products Exhibition in Johannesburg in the Q1 2025

The Algerian-South African economic forum concluded on Thursday evening in Algiers with an agreement to organize an exhibition of Algerian products in Johannesburg in the first quarter of 2025 and to adopt a joint strategy to promote trade and partnerships between economic operators in the two countries.

The Algerian and South African Ministries of Foreign Affairs have agreed on several initiatives to promote Algerian products in South Africa. An exhibition will be held in Johannesburg in the first quarter of 2025. The two countries will also participate in economic events such as the Algiers International Fair and the Intra-African Trade Fair.

The Algerian-South African Economic Forum will be held in Johannesburg in 2025, including a meeting of the Joint Business Council. Particular attention was paid to the experience and expertise exchanges aiming at building a lasting economic partnership.

Over 300 businessmen attended the forum, representing various sectors such as agriculture, the automotive industry, energy and information technology. Participants praised the investment climate in both countries and urged strengthening trade relations, notably through the African Continental Free Trade Area.

The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency and South African representatives presented investment opportunities in their respective countries. Efforts are being made to increase the trade volume between the two nations.
