Oran Opening of the 2nd edition of the National Micro-Business Fair

ORAN - The Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-Businesses, Mr Noureddine Ouadah, opened the second edition of the National Micro-Business Exhibition on Thursday at the Mohamed-Benahmed Convention Centre in Oran. The exhibition features more than 240 exhibitors from different wilayas across the country, representing various sectors.

The opening ceremony of this event, organised by the National Microcredit Management Agency (ANGEM) under the slogan "Micro-activity, an effective mechanism for stimulating local production and supporting the national economy", was attended by the Wali of Oran, Brahim Ouchene, the Director General of ANGEM, Souad Ben Djemil, the Director General of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development (NESDA), Achacha Bilal, as well as local officials and representatives of partner organisations.

According to the organisers, this national trade fair "represents the realisation of the national vision of supporting economic initiative and reinforcing the government's commitment to promoting micro-enterprises as an essential lever for local production and strengthening the national economy".

Scheduled to run until 14 February, this trade fair is an institutional space dedicated to promoting successful experiences and highlighting project leaders' capabilities. It is part of public policies aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship, wealth creation and job creation.
