IATF 2025: strong participation from public companies

Several major public sector companies are participating in the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), organized in Algiers from September 4 to 10, 2025, to strengthen their presence in the continent's markets.

The participation of 200 Algerian companies in the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) in Algiers aims to showcase the country's industrial capabilities, promote its products, and strengthen partnerships with the rest of the continent. Several major national groups are present:

 

GICA is promoting its cement exports (6.4 million tons in 2023) and its technical support for African market services.

 

Holcim El-Djazaïr is continuing its efforts to make Algeria a cement hub with a strong focus on innovation and environmental footprint.

 

Sonelgaz is presenting its subsidiaries and business lines to a large and interested African audience.

 

Sonarem is seeking to develop partnerships in the mining sector and promote its export products, including phosphate, marble, and calcium carbonate.

 

Sonatrach is asserting its strategic role in the African energy market, with a focus on energy transition and innovation.

 

Naftal highlights its expertise in the distribution of petroleum products and aims to expand its presence in Africa.

 

Logistrans participates in support of regional logistics integration, positioning Algeria as a commercial hub.

 

Algérie Télécom and its subsidiaries are aiming to expand internationally through digital transformation.


Djezzy presents its digital solutions for businesses and young entrepreneurs, reinforcing its role as a partner in Africa’s digital development.

This strong presence demonstrates Algeria’s ambition to become a key economic player on the continent by leveraging diversification, innovation, and intra-African cooperation.
