GAM Insurance launches Takafulia Li Taaminat

“Takafulia Li Taaminat” is the new commercial identity of the Takaful window of GAM Insurance.

"After four years of operating in the Algerian Takaful insurance market, GAM Assurances is changing the name of its window to match the company's trade name to have a greater impact on the public," said its managing director, Ahmed Hadj Ahmed, at a meeting organised for this occasion in Algiers.

Ahmed Hadj Ahmed reports that GAM Assurances launched this Sharia-compliant business four years ago. "Our turnover from Takaful grew by 400% in 2025. This is a positive development," he said, adding that since the launch of this branch, GAM Assurances has achieved a turnover of 200 million dinars. Through this new identity, Takafulia Li Taaminat has set its priorities for the future, which include strengthening the digital transformation of Takaful services, developing products tailored to the needs of individuals and businesses, expanding partnerships, particularly with Islamic finance and banking players, and finally, actively contributing to the development of the insurance market.
