Mining exploration: 45 technical offers for 14 sites

This 53rd tendering session concerns in particular mining sites of marble, siliceous sand, limestone, granite, tuff, clay and sand, located in 14 wilayas, including Tamanrasset, Tébessa, Timimoun, Bordj Badji Mokhtar and Tlemcen.

Anam had issued a national call for tender notice last October for 19 exploration licenses. The first phase of this operation, which concerned the technical part, was carried out in open session and in the presence of the tenderers or their duly authorized representatives. According to Smaïl El Djouzi, Chairman of the Agency’s Management Committee, Anam has registered the withdrawal of 71 specifications. Following the examination of the bids by the awarding office, 45 bids were accepted and 5 rejected, including one bid from a natural person, whereas the mining license can only be granted to a legal entity under the Mining Act.
