Signed during a meeting dedicated to strengthening support and insurance mechanisms for micro-enterprises, this agreement aims to "establish insurance coverage for project leaders receiving funding under the NESDA scheme, covering the risks of death and total and permanent disability, while guaranteeing the repayment of the remaining balance of the interest-free loan (PNR) in the event of one of the covered risks occurring, thereby protecting beneficiaries and their families and ensuring the sustainability of the projects financed".

In this context, NESDA Director General Bilal Achacha, emphasised that this agreement "is in line with the Agency's strategic vision to strengthen social and financial protection mechanisms for project leaders, thereby establishing an inclusive approach that is not limited to financing alone, but extends to the sustainability of economic activity and support for entrepreneurs at different stages of their journey," the press release notes.

For his part, the managing director of TALA Assurances, Nabil Heddouche, stated that this partnership "reflects the company's commitment to supporting entrepreneurial dynamism in Algeria by offering insurance products tailored to the specific needs of micro-enterprises and contributing to the development of an integrated system that builds confidence and supports investment".
