The Minister of Energy, Mohamed Arkab Adjal, met with a delegation from Elsewedy Electric Algeria to review the status of cooperation with the Sonelgaz group and the progress of agreements between the two parties. This meeting is part of Algeria's desire to strengthen its international partnerships in the energy sector and explore new opportunities for cooperation, particularly in African and Middle Eastern markets.
The minister praised the Egyptian partner's commitment to its agreements and stressed the importance of developing projects in manufacturing energy equipment, engineering, and the construction of power plants and transformer stations. He also raised the possibility of expanding Elsewedy Electric's industrial activities in Algeria, particularly in the manufacture of electrical cable accessories, high-voltage insulators, and transformers. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their cooperation and accelerating the implementation of joint projects, particularly in African markets.
