In a statement to APS, on the sidelines of ANGEM's participation in the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), Bendjemil explained that "the number of beneficiaries of financial and non-financial services since the Agency's creation has reached one million in several areas," emphasizing that "9,000 projects were financed during the first half of 2025, some of which relate to new activities tailored to the interests of young people."

On-site support for project leaders

The projects funded cover all regions of the country, including remote areas, where the Agency ensures that outreach teams are sent to assist loan applicants in registering on the dedicated website, according to the same official, who also emphasized the importance of providing on-the-ground support to project leaders to enable them to develop their projects in a second phase.

In this context, Bendjemil described the Agency's presence at IATF 2025 as "very important," in line with its objective of "seeking opportunities to showcase and market the products of credit beneficiaries," noting "the participation of 100 beneficiaries in this edition." She also highlighted the keen interest shown by African investors in the products on display, which should soon lead to the conclusion of partnership agreements.
